Sharing your Tool & Material Databases

If you have more than one Seat of SURFCAM and you do not want to maintain multiple Tool & Material Database files, you can place these files on your Server allowing all SURFCAM Seats to access the files.

Go to your C:\Surfcam\Velocity\ folder and copy all of your *.MDB files to a Folder on your Server.

Edit your C:\Surfcam\Velocity\ToolLib.ini

Add this line to the top of the file

ToolLibDir=N:\PATH

Where N:\PATH is the network drive and path where the *.mdb files are now located.
