This document will explain how to completely
remove your Rainbow, SafeNet or Sentinel Security
Drivers and install new drivers.

Step 1 -
Removing older versions
Close
SURFCAM
Remove your USB SIM (Parallel SIMs can
remain on the Parallel Port)
Open your
Add or Remove Programs, locate any Rainbow, SafeNet
or Sentinel Protection software and Remove
them then reboot your PC. |

Step 2 -
Download the SSDCleanup Utility
Download the SSDCleanup utility and
extract the contents. |
 |
|
Step 3 -
Running the SSDCleanup Utility
Double
click the SSDCleanup.exe and Select RUN if
the Security Warning dialog box appears. |

Step 4 -
Running the SSDCleanup Utility
Press Y to
continue |

|
Step 5 -
Running the SSDCleanup Utility
Make sure
SURFCAM is not Running and press any key to
continue. |

Step 6 -
Running the SSDCleanup Utility
Wait as
the utility locates and remove old versions. |

Step 7 -
Download the latest Security Drivers
(v7.4.0)
Download the Sentinel Protection
Installer and extract the contents. |

Step 8
-Installing the Sentinel Drivers
Double
click the Sentinel Protection Installer
7.4.0.exe file and select RUN if the
Security Warning dialog box appears. |

Click the
Next Button to continue |

Accept the
Terms and click the Next Button to continue. |

Select
CUSTOM then click the Next Button to
continue. |

Click the
Sentinel Protection Server and and Sentinel
Keys Server select "X
This feature will not be available" then
click Next Button to continue. |

Click the
Install button to continue. |

Click the
Finish button to complete the installation. |

Verify Installation
Insert your
USB SIM in to a USB Port and Start SURFCAM.
If SURFCAM
starts in DEMO Mode contact our Support Desk
for additional help. |
