SURFCAM Performance Tip

You can increase SURFCAM's Display Performance by changing a couple setting in your Operating System.

If creating TEXT leaves an extra copy of the TEXT on the screen until a repaint issued or do you see ghosting then dragging a Dialog Box across the screen?

Try turning off the "Show window contents while dragging" option

XP Instructions

1. Right Mouse Click on your Desktop
2. Click "Properties"
3. Click "Appearance Tab"
4. Click the "Effects" button
5. Remove the Check Mark in the "Show window contents while dragging" box
6. Click the OK button

Vista Instructions

1. Right Mouse Click on your Desktop
2. Click "Personalize"
3. Click "Windows Color and Appearance"
4. Click the "Open classic appearance properties for more color options"
5. Click the "Effects" button
6. Remove the Check Mark in the "Show window contents while dragging" box
7. Click the OK button
