Step 1

Insert the SURFCAM Velocity or SURFCAM SE CD into your CD Drive.
(the installation manager should appear if autorun is enabled)

1. If the Microsoft DirectX 9.0c is not installed click the Install NOW button.
2. To install SURFCAM Velocity click Install NOW button.

Step 2

Click the NEXT button to continue.

Step 3

Please read the License Agreement and click the I Accept button to continue.

Steps 4 & 5

Populate the Customer Information fields.

Click the NEXT button twice to continue.

Step 6

Choose your Units, INCH or METRIC.  (you can change after the installation if necessary)

Click the NEXT button to continue.

Step 7

Choose the Destination Folder.

If you want to do an UPDATE installation, choose the location where your previous version is installed.  The installation manager will choose this location by default. - RECOMMENDED

If you want to do a New installation PLEASE choose a different folder from your previous version.

NOTE: If you do a NEW install into your previous version folder, your post processors will be overwritten with the default post processors.  - NOT RECOMMENDED

Click the NEXT button to continue.

Step 8

The Installation Manager has found a previous version.

Click the YES to perform an Update installation. - RECOMMENDED

Step 9

Make sure that Typical is selected (Default).

Click the NEXT button to continue.

Step 10

Nothing to do.... just watch the pretty blue bars......... ((@)) ((@))

Step 11

SolidWorks Document Manager Installation, this will help with importing SolidWorks files, Click NEXT button.

Step 12

SolidWorks Document Manager License Agreement.

Click the "I accept the terms in the license agreement" check box then click the NEXT button.

Step 13

Click the INSTALL button to continue.

Step 14

Nothing to do.... just watch the pretty blue bars.........

Step 15

Click the FINISH button to exit the install and return to the SURFCAM installation.

Step 16

Choose your Icon and click the NEXT button to continue.

Step 17

Select your Program Group then click the NEXT button to continue.

Step 18

Review the What's New Document, click the X button to continue

Step 19

Click the FINISH button to complete the installation and reboot.
